If Veselin Stošić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Babina Greda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severin Ćorluka to maneuver through the defense. Žarko Divjak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krešo Švaljek's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Veselin Stošić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severin Ćorluka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Tuna having to interfere. The Babina Greda fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Babina Greda's Veselin Stošić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Roman Tuna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veselin Stošić in the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Veselin Stošić in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Tuna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Babina Greda's Natko Tukša got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Veselin Stošić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severin Ćorluka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Roman Tuna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Babina Greda were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krešo Švaljek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Severin Ćorluka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Tuna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Tuna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilko Vladović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd match minute, Babina Greda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilim Bunić to maneuver through the defense. After 56 minutes of play, NK SAVA Strmec's Krešo Švaljek made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Žarko Divjak was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Veselin Stošić came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Babina Greda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veselin Stošić couldn't finish the play. If Veselin Stošić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK SAVA Strmec's goalkeeper Roman Tuna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Veselin Stošić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the game, one of NK SAVA Strmec:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Miha Munjaković placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Severin Ćorluka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gojko Mikas kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Jure Salaj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Veselin Stošić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Babina Greda's Veselin Stošić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Tuna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK SAVA Strmec's goalkeeper Roman Tuna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, NK SAVA Strmec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ljubomir Barukčić to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Jure Salaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Žarko Divjak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Natko Tukša hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, NK SAVA Strmec's Jura Karuza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After a rather tough play, Babina Greda's Ilko Vladović got a free kick in the 97th minute. Jure Salaj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Žarko Divjak having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Babina Greda left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NK SAVA Strmec.
