Đino Jendrić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matko Aurer went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Đino Jendrić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matko Aurer in the 8th minute of play. Benjamin Vukelić charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Vukelić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, FC Pivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvije Bratković to maneuver through the defense. Matko Aurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Đino Jendrić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vice Čakanić charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vice Čakanić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Vice Čakanić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Maksim Goleš shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Đino Jendrić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matko Aurer in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Đino Jendrić saved FC Pivo from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matko Aurer in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Đino Jendrić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Lovrinović in the 31st minute of play forced HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's goalkeeper Zoran Kaleb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Đino Jendrić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Branko Mijatović's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Branko Mijatović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đino Jendrić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Đino Jendrić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matko Aurer, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's goalkeeper Zoran Kaleb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Đino Jendrić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branko Mijatović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Branko Mijatović stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Đino Jendrić managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's Matko Aurer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Branko Mijatović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvije Bratković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Branko Mijatović in the 72nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Đino Jendrić kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Branko Mijatović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Đino Jendrić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Branko Mijatović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Rikard Lovrinović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
