In the 7th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. Keijo Järvensivu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 12th minute, Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 28th minute, Germany's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gürsel Aksel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 32 played minutes Basmane Texas got a freekick which was hit by Zac 赵云. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Gürsel Aksel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gürsel Aksel really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürsel Aksel in the 70th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürsel Aksel in the 73rd minute of the match. Gürsel Aksel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. 76 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Gürsel Aksel came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürsel Aksel in the 78th minute of play. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gürsel Aksel's shot from short distance in the 81st minute.
