Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stephane Gervais kicked off to start the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Michael Pavan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cimiez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Pavan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stephane Gervais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emmanuel Pachot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mamadou Almeida in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Football Grenoble's Geoffroy Boule got a free kick in the 10th minute. Stephane Gervais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bryan Tricaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emmanuel Pachot came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Football Grenoble's Joe Chambaud. But to his dismay, Joe Chambaud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dorian Jouy walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 28 minutes into the match, Club Football Grenoble's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Pavan came free, but Bryan Tricaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Club Football Grenoble's goal looked a bit too open when Stephane Gervais came free, but Bryan Tricaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryan Tricaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephane Gervais in the 32nd minute of the match. If Michael Pavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute of the match, Michael Pavan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bryan Tricaud was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After the first half Club Football Grenoble were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Joe Chambaud made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Club Football Grenoble got a freekick which was hit by Hamid Bousquiet. Stephane Gervais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Stephane Gervais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mamadou Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Emmanuel Pachot made a huge save. In the 64th minute of the match Patrice Labussiere sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bryan Tricaud skillfully saved the ball. Emmanuel Pachot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Chambaud in the 67th minute of play. Emmanuel Pachot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Chambaud in the 69th minute of the match. Wilfried Greiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Tricaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephane Gervais in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Michael Pavan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cimiez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Michael Pavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Tricaud having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Michael Pavan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute Stephane Gervais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Tricaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salomon Belot's late challenge caught a Cimiez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salomon Belot helped the player get up and apologised. Salomon Belot hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Bryan Tricaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Pavan in the 93rd minute of play. Michael Pavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cimiez were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Club Football Grenoble to leave the ground with a draw.
