Diego Gérault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quentin Boutet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommy Bernard to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel Vert came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Diego Gérault could save by the left post. Nelson Bonvoisin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josselin Morisset's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Luka Caruso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diego Gérault. FC Dolois's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Charlie Jaillet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eybens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dolois the free kick. Charlie Jaillet kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes FC Dolois got a freekick which was hit by Camille Cochon. In the 79th minute, Quentin Boutet fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. César Delépine charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Delépine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tommy Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Diego Gérault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Gérault stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Bernard's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olivier Lannoy during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Eybens a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pacome Delesalle, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Dolois's Diego Gérault. 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Eybens eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
