Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Aguilas Champagne's Rachid Bricard got a free kick in the 9th minute. Vivien Darmon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robin Huchon came out and tried to block the shot, but Vivien Darmon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Chris Marquier scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robin Huchon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 played minutes Aguilas Champagne got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Bricard. Ghislain Dunoyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Mions's Mathys Morizot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robin Huchon. Robin Huchon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 32 minutes into the match, Jean-Marie Hollard notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Mions's Stephane Gely. Stephane Gely was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the game, Chris Marquier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robin Huchon. Chris Marquier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. In the 42nd minute, Jean-Marie Hollard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Carl Lachenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carl Lachenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Jean-Marie Hollard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguilas Champagne's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Marie Hollard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephane Gely breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rachid Bricard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean-Marie Hollard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephane Gely having to interfere. Stephane Gely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Marie Hollard, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Carl Lachenal fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Stephane Gely, passed just outside the right post. In the 63rd minute Mathys Morizot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Huchon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stephane Gely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Marie Hollard, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Aguilas Champagne's Rachid Bricard got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean-Marie Hollard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Stephane Gely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Vivien Darmon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Aguilas Champagne getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ibrahim Ravier hit a great ball. Robin Huchon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghislain Dunoyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Aguilas Champagne's Carl Lachenal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stephane Gely narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jean-Marie Hollard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vivien Darmon during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vivien Darmon hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mions's zone, Jean-Marie Hollard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stephane Gely came out of the goal and Jean-Marie Hollard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean-Marie Hollard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephane Gely having to interfere. In the 86th minute Jean-Marie Hollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephane Gely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jean-Marie Hollard came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Aguilas Champagne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Marie Hollard couldn't finish the play. Aguilas Champagne's Jean-Marie Hollard got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Chris Marquier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Aguilas Champagne's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mions had won, even though Aguilas Champagne had held more of the ball.
