The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baptiste Gauthey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentin Milesi scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul-Henri Cizeron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Baptiste Gauthey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul-Henri Cizeron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Omar Courteille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul-Henri Cizeron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Alphonse Jeannin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viroflay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Châteaufort the free kick. After a rather tough play, Viroflay's Alphonse Jeannin got a free kick in the 20th minute. Viroflay's Paul-Henri Cizeron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baptiste Gauthey in the 21st minute of play. Paul-Henri Cizeron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baptiste Gauthey in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baptiste Gauthey in the 26th minute of play forced Viroflay's goalkeeper Paul-Henri Cizeron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul-Henri Cizeron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Courteille, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Davy Lévesque who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Châteaufort's François Jeanneret was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gameiro Cosnard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François Jeanneret having to interfere. Paul-Henri Cizeron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibault Valour in the 34th minute of the match. Châteaufort's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Gameiro Cosnard scored to the left of an out of position François Jeanneret, making the score, 1-2. 43 minutes into the match, Baptiste Gauthey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul-Henri Cizeron. Viroflay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baptiste Gauthey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Adil Schuster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but François Jeanneret made a huge save. Alphonse Jeannin was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Alphonse Jeannin kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Courteille to make the kick off. Adil Schuster took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised François Jeanneret. François Jeanneret dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. François Jeanneret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from François Lombard, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Adil Schuster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viroflay's Paul-Henri Cizeron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Courteille in the 61st minute of play. Paul-Henri Cizeron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Éric Levy in the 63rd minute. Châteaufort's Florentin Milesi suffered a fractured collar bone after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Rivault during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tom Rivault hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Châteaufort's zone, Adil Schuster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. François Jeanneret came out of the goal and Adil Schuster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Lenny Girod got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 76th minute Gameiro Cosnard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François Jeanneret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Châteaufort's goal looked a bit too open when Adil Schuster came free, but François Jeanneret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Châteaufort's François Jeanneret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adil Schuster in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Viroflay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gameiro Cosnard to maneuver through the defense. François Jeanneret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adil Schuster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Rivault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute, Gameiro Cosnard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Châteaufort had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
