After a defensive mix-up in Crangeat's zone, Michel Teinturier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erwann Lebrun came out of the goal and Michel Teinturier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erwann Lebrun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Bouly's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Achille Delanoë showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Martens, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Michel Teinturier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Erwann Lebrun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwann Lebrun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Bouly, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Michel Teinturier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mulocherie's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Teinturier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erwann Lebrun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernest Teboul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Achille Delanoë made a huge save. Arnold Martens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Delanoë having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnold Martens to make the kick off. Mulocherie's Achille Delanoë played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Martens in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Crangeat's Ernest Teboul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Achille Delanoë made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Ernest Teboul came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Crangeat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Teboul couldn't finish the play. Robert Bouly was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Mulocherie's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 70thth minute of the game Robert Bouly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crangeat's Erwann Lebrun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnold Martens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Delanoë having to interfere. Achille Delanoë made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Martens in the 73rd minute of play. Erwann Lebrun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Teinturier in the 75th minute. In the 75th match minute, Crangeat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evan Boulot to maneuver through the defense. If Robert Bouly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Bouly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michel Teinturier succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mulocherie walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
