The audience was convinced that Ernest Teboul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Michel Rohmer was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Crangeat's Ernest Teboul got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Gildas Herpin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Erwann Lebrun. If Mario Villet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Perrinche's goalkeeper Jean-Michel Rohmer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorian Jouet during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Perrinche getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dorian Jouet hit a great ball. Jean-Michel Rohmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Teboul in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th minute, Fabrice Benoit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Evan Boulot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean-Michel Rohmer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gildas Herpin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwann Lebrun having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Mario Villet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erwann Lebrun. Mario Villet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernest Teboul got free with Jean-Michel Rohmer in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute Arnold Martens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Michel Rohmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Michel Rohmer made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Ernest Teboul sent off a good shot on target. Mario Villet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Erwann Lebrun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorian Jouet hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Perrinche's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Martens came free, but Jean-Michel Rohmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Perrinche had won after a very even match.
