Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leon Lesueur got the match started through his kick off. Constantin Lagneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aimé Osmont in the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marius Reiss got free with Constantin Lagneau in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aimé Osmont recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Leon Lesueur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Houlle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Delorme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Houlle having to interfere. Leon Lesueur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Romeo Houlle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Chassieu's Leon Lesueur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Houlle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehdi Pottiez during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. The Richwiller players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chassieu were winning 0-1.

Chassieu's supporters rose to their feet, but Hubert Delorme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Houlle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Chassieu defense, Aimé Osmont kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantin Lagneau. The Chassieu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantin Lagneau should have stopped the shot. Leon Lesueur charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Aimé Osmont ran back to his position shaking his head. Constantin Lagneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Reiss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Chassieu's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Reiss came free, but Constantin Lagneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
