Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Josselin Neveu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pascal Aucouturier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Rimbaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Georges Moinard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kerivot fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Michael Rimbaud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascal Aucouturier having to make a save. Kirbon's Pascal Aucouturier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bixente Gaillard in the 13th minute of play. Kerivot's Georges Moinard got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Kerivot's Bixente Gaillard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascal Aucouturier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bixente Gaillard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Aucouturier having to interfere. Pascal Aucouturier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Rimbaud in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bixente Gaillard in the 22nd minute of play forced Kirbon's goalkeeper Pascal Aucouturier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Kirbon defense, Bixente Gaillard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascal Aucouturier. The Kirbon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascal Aucouturier should have stopped the shot. Georges Moinard's late challenge caught a Kirbon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georges Moinard helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Kerivot got a freekick which was hit by Georges Moinard. Kerivot's Michael Rimbaud got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Michael Rimbaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Aucouturier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Kerivot a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jerome Muret, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kirbon's Pascal Aucouturier. 0-3. Josselin Neveu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Bixente Gaillard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kerivot fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bixente Gaillard was the one to do the kick off. When Emeric Salhi came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Kerivot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emeric Salhi couldn't finish the play. Bixente Gaillard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Aucouturier having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Michael Rimbaud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kerivot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Rimbaud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Josselin Neveu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Georges Moinard hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kirbon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Bixente Gaillard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Aucouturier having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kirbon's zone, Bixente Gaillard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Aucouturier came out of the goal and Bixente Gaillard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes Bixente Gaillard rounded Kirbon's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. In the 79th play minute Michael Rimbaud came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pascal Aucouturier. 0-7. If Bixente Gaillard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kirbon's zone, Bixente Gaillard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Aucouturier came out of the goal and Bixente Gaillard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 minutes, Josselin Neveu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kirbon and the Kerivot players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Kirbon got a freekick which was hit by Josselin Neveu. Francois Lombardo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Pascal Aucouturier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kerivot. Bixente Gaillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerivot's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
