Albert Sole was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute of the match Blaise Brébant shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albert Sole showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Bordeaux Pl's Erwan Bonnamour got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ange Bouvart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gaétan Jarret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ange Bouvart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bordeaux Pl's supporters rose to their feet, but Ange Bouvart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaétan Jarret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Bordeaux Pl's Gaétan Jarret threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kilian Le Quellec, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Antoine Bussiere might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albert Sole. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antoine Bussiere ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmond Guidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Albert Sole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Bordeaux Pl's Ange Bouvart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaétan Jarret made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Edmond Guidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmond Guidi took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Sole. Albert Sole dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After the first half Limay were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antoine Bussiere to make the kick off. Gaétan Jarret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armand Guyot, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Limay getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Lucien Gallien hit a great ball. Ange Bouvart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ange Bouvart in the 58th minute of play forced Limay's goalkeeper Gaétan Jarret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bordeaux Pl's zone, Antoine Bussiere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Sole came out of the goal and Antoine Bussiere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the game, Erwan Bonnamour was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bordeaux Pl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limay the free kick. A collision led to Bordeaux Pl getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Erwan Bonnamour hit a great ball. Albert Sole took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Bussiere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bordeaux Pl's goalkeeper Albert Sole, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute Antoine Bussiere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Sole saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Limay's zone, Ange Bouvart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaétan Jarret came out of the goal and Ange Bouvart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edmond Guidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoine Bussiere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmond Guidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Sole having to interfere. Edmond Guidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Albert Sole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmond Guidi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Albert Sole made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Kilian Le Quellec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Limay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
