Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Matheo Boulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaël Auzanneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Freddy Braun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Escalquens's Gaël Auzanneau got control of the ball when Antony Dominici tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Escalquens getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Stéphane Chardon hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Freddy Braun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Antony Dominici managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malleloy's supporters rose to their feet, but Antony Dominici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaël Auzanneau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaël Auzanneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheo Boulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benoît Le Bihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Malleloy defense, Benoît Le Bihan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Éric Breil. The Malleloy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Éric Breil should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Dominique Boutard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Éric Breil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Dominique Boutard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malleloy were furious when Émile Lienhard was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Malleloy! The referee gave Escalquens a penalty, 52 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Théophile Hénot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Malleloy's Éric Breil. 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antony Dominici made a kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Dominique Boutard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escalquens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominique Boutard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benoît Le Bihan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominique Boutard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éric Breil having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Escalquens's goalkeeper Gaël Auzanneau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Antony Dominici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malleloy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antony Dominici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dominique Boutard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute, Dominique Boutard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddy Braun hit a great freekick 102 minutes into the match.
