Sidney Didierjean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatole Steinmetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Reymann in the 12th minute of play forced Vaudricourt's goalkeeper Sidney Didierjean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Barthelemy Bardeau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacques Lemarchand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Reymann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edouard Plantard kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Alfred Briend could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jacques Lemarchand made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Bernis's Edouard Plantard got a free kick in the 27th minute. Sidney Didierjean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatole Steinmetz in the 29th minute of play. Jean-Philippe Lange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Didierjean having to interfere. In the 38th minute Anatole Steinmetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Didierjean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vaudricourt's Alex Taillefer got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Anatole Steinmetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Didierjean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Vaudricourt defense, Jean-Philippe Lange kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sidney Didierjean. The Vaudricourt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sidney Didierjean should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rene Reymann during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rene Reymann kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Bernis were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anatole Steinmetz to make the kick off. Bernis's Jacques Lemarchand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarod Rouger in the 51st minute of play. Anatole Steinmetz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sidney Didierjean came out and tried to block the shot, but Anatole Steinmetz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 63rd minute. After 67 minutes, Alfred Briend made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bernis's Jacques Lemarchand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Barthelemy Bardeau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacques Lemarchand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Briend in the 71st minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Bernis:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vaudricourt:s goal. Jean-Philippe Lange in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sidney Didierjean, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alex Taillefer hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Anatole Steinmetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bernis's supporters rose to their feet, but Anatole Steinmetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Didierjean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacques Lemarchand came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Vaudricourt's Alfred Briend. But to his dismay, Alfred Briend quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jean-Philippe Lange managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bernis's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Philippe Lange was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Didierjean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vaudricourt's goalkeeper Sidney Didierjean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bernis players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vaudricourt.
