Abraham Florence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jérémie Rouviere, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jarod Hanon succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Jarod Hanon struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Abraham Florence didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magne. Jérémie Rouviere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Grégoire Tiercelin charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grégoire Tiercelin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Magne getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Grégoire Tiercelin hit a great ball. Laurent Prin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magne's Jérémie Rouviere got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Jarod Hanon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abraham Florence. Betton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarod Hanon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

The supporters of Betton booed when Magne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Baly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octave Tanneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurent Prin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Magne had won after a very even match.
