In the 10thth minute of the game Hippolyte Alary who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nancy's Gage Keng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rodière's zone, Nathanaël Gracia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alix Lagrange came out of the goal and Nathanaël Gracia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Grégory Pille made a precise shot to the right of Alix Lagrange. Rodière's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alix Lagrange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grégory Pille, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rodière's zone, Grégory Pille stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alix Lagrange came out of the goal and Grégory Pille tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gage Keng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hippolyte Alary, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nathanaël Gracia struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alix Lagrange didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nancy. Nathanaël Gracia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alix Lagrange having to interfere. When Nathanaël Gracia came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Nancy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nathanaël Gracia couldn't finish the play. Gage Keng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hippolyte Alary in the 39th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Nancy's corner Morgan Boucaud fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alix Lagrange quite easily take care of the ball. If Grégory Pille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Rodière was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Barbot to maneuver through the defense. Nancy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
