Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raoul Fardeau got the match started through his kick off. After 6 minutes, François-Xavier Lucien made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Marquisat's Luc Ruhlmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Marouane Yon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Rachid Montero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guînes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Marquisat's Raoul Fardeau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrien Renaut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Guînes booed when Marquisat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Vigot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luc Ruhlmann came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Guînes's Rachid Montero. But to his dismay, Rachid Montero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 31 minutes, François-Xavier Lucien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guînes's supporters crossed their fingers, but François-Xavier Lucien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillaume Lescure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Luc Ruhlmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When François-Xavier Lucien came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Guînes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that François-Xavier Lucien couldn't finish the play. Luc Ruhlmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Montero in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Francis Fourage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luc Ruhlmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Lescure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrien Renaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raoul Fardeau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Dave Vigot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrien Renaut. Guînes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dave Vigot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After the first half Guînes were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for François-Xavier Lucien to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Cédric Lebailly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A beautiful save bye Marquisat's goalie prevented a goal. Rachid Monteros short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Luc Ruhlmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. François-Xavier Lucien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luc Ruhlmann having to make a save. Rachid Montero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luc Ruhlmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Guillaume Lescure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrien Renaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Redouane Tranchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Hamza Gantier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guînes's zone, Honoré Desgranges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrien Renaut came out of the goal and Honoré Desgranges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute Honoré Desgranges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Renaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamza Gantier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Marquisat got a freekick which was hit by Gaël Érard. If Hamza Gantier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rachid Montero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. François-Xavier Lucien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luc Ruhlmann having to interfere. Guînes's Adrien Renaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raoul Fardeau in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Raoul Fardeau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marquisat's supporters rose to their feet, but Raoul Fardeau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrien Renaut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the game, one of Guînes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Marquisat. Redouane Tranchard stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adrien Renaut. 2-3.
