Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Montagny booed when Planque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinedine Gavalda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Mario Soreau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cyprien Hervouet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th match minute, Planque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djimmy Gagnard to maneuver through the defense. Mario Soreau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prosper Delord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Prosper Delord managed to get in a good position for a shot. Planque's supporters rose to their feet, but Prosper Delord was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximilien Daviaud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Karim Schroeder made a precise shot to the right of Cyprien Hervouet. Planque's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Planque's goalkeeper Cyprien Hervouet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Désiré Lesot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Désiré Lesot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prosper Delord stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cyprien Hervouet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Montagny's Désiré Lesot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cyprien Hervouet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Désiré Lesot couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Zinedine Chauve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montagny fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
