Ronan Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Corlay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Fernand Pousset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Fortune in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Dugny's Eloi Bergeret sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernand Pousset narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
