Edmond Mader's late challenge caught a Bourdette's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmond Mader helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Dugny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmond Mader to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Axel Fortune got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21st play minutes Cédric Carles shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Leo Corlay and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Cédric Carles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bourdette's supporters rose to their feet, but Cédric Carles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Corlay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bourdette's Madjid Ballu got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Corlay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madjid Ballu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Cédric Carles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Corlay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Bourdette were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Madjid Ballu to strike the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Cédric Carles in the 53rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Leo Corlay had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Leo Corlay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Madjid Ballu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 80 minute of play. Axel Fortune fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludovic Rousseau having to interfere. Eloi Bergeret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Corlay made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Cédric Carles sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Madjid Ballu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
