The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Mike Chaminade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dugny's Leo Corlay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute Axel Fortune shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Cyrille Lechat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Cyrille Lechat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloi Bergeret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Corlay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Dugny's Edmond Mader got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute Axel Fortune shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Cyrille Lechat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Edmond Mader had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean-Cyrille Lechat. Jaquera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmond Mader was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jean-Cyrille Lechat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Fortune, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sébastien Gabins short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Leo Corlay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jean-Cyrille Lechat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloi Bergeret in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mike Chaminade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Mike Chaminade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaquera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Chaminade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Corlay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 54 minutes, Igor Lebouteiller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaquera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Lebouteiller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mike Chaminade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dugny's zone, Sébastien Gabin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Corlay came out of the goal and Sébastien Gabin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eloi Bergeret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Jean-Cyrille Lechat made a huge save. Stanislas Campion kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Jaquera FC booed when Dugny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Pierret didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Cyrille Lechat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eloi Bergeret showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 81 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Fabien Debove managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaquera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabien Debove was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Corlay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the game, Jaquera FC's Igor Lebouteiller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leo Corlay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jaquera FC had won after a very even match.
