Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joe Vrignon kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Joaquim Ripoche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abraham Guellec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Ley, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to Darnétal getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Yazid Pedrono hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Venelles's Pierre-Emmanuel Jourdain tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Joe Vrignon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Éloi Cosse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Guillaume Christine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darnétal's Éloi Cosse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Guiard in the 22nd minute of play. The Darnétal fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Darnétal's Joaquim Ripoche looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the match, Darnétal's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan Guiard came free, but Éloi Cosse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yvan Poret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darnétal were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Venelles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Modeste Freyermuth took the corner. Darnétal's Modeste Freyermuth was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abraham Guellec in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Venelles's Abraham Guellec got control of the ball when Joaquim Ripoche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Éloi Cosse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dylan Guiard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Dylan Guiard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venelles's supporters rose to their feet, but Dylan Guiard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Éloi Cosse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Ley to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Darnétal's Éloi Cosse got control of the ball when Dylan Guiard tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 56 in the game by Dylan Guiard from a close distance when the talented Éloi Cosse managed to make a qualified save. Darnétal's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yazid Pedrono during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yazid Pedrono hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Éloi Cosse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Vrignon in the 58th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Gaston Ley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Guellec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Ley in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abraham Guellec saved Venelles from getting behind. Gaston Ley might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abraham Guellec. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Ley ran back to his position shaking his head. Dylan Guiard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éloi Cosse having to interfere. Gaston Ley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Abraham Guellec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dylan Guiard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Darnétal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazid Pedrono to maneuver through the defense. If Dylan Guiard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darnétal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Joe Vrignon scored to the left of an out of position Éloi Cosse, making the score, 1-2. Guillaume Christine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Éloi Cosse made a huge save. Gaston Ley struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Abraham Guellec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Darnétal. In the 99th minute Joaquim Ripoche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Guellec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
