Joffrey Journet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Vrignon in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlie Berthelon was the one to do the kick off. Joffrey Journet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Vrignon in the 54th minute of the match. Joe Vrignon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joffrey Journet having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Yannick Margot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abraham Guellec was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Clement Vesin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maclamod's supporters rose to their feet, but Clement Vesin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abraham Guellec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th match minute, Venelles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyril Sautereau to maneuver through the defense. Venelles's Abraham Guellec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Venelles from getting a goal against them.
