Brendan Guyomard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octave Angeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Nouveau in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Montlhéry's goal looked a bit too open when Brendan Guyomard came free, but Mickaël Chaumeil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Montlhéry's Blaise Rochon got a free kick in the 19th minute. Adam Aron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montlhéry's Teddy Nouveau got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teddy Nouveau was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Montlhéry's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Octave Angeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy Nouveau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malik Ferlay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Montlhéry booed when Pulversheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gérald Labre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pulversheim's zone, Patrick Danton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octave Angeli came out of the goal and Patrick Danton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Montlhéry's goal looked a bit too open when Brendan Guyomard came free, but Mickaël Chaumeil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Brendan Guyomard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teddy Nouveau was the one to do the kick off. Teddy Nouveau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octave Angeli having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Pulversheim's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Aron came free, but Octave Angeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octave Angeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Nouveau in the 64th minute of the match. Jérémy Djorkaeff lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Montlhéry a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Patrick Danton, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pulversheim's Octave Angeli. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Adam Aron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octave Angeli was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Octave Angeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Nouveau in the 73rd minute of play. The Montlhéry fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Montlhéry's Teddy Nouveau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hippolyte Livet might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octave Angeli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hippolyte Livet ran back to his position shaking his head. Kylian Rivaud charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kylian Rivaud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Montlhéry booed when Pulversheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kylian Rivaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Adam Aron came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Montlhéry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Aron couldn't finish the play. After having played for 90 minutes, Teddy Nouveau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montlhéry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teddy Nouveau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 played minutes Montlhéry got a freekick which was hit by Teddy Nouveau. Montlhéry's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
