With 3 minutes on the clock, Celestin Vogt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 10th minute, Dominique Bardoux left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pierrevillers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ferdinand Gillard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ronald Charras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remi Delville having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Gillard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remi Delville. Pierrevillers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Gillard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Dominique Bardoux struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominique Bardoux made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pierrevillers's zone, Ferdinand Gillard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remi Delville came out of the goal and Ferdinand Gillard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dominique Bardoux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Michel Nunez charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean-Michel Nunez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tigery getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ronald Charras took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remi Delville. Remi Delville dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ferdinand Gillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominique Bardoux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Louis Gard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Dominique Bardoux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominique Bardoux got free with Louis Gard in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
