Quentin Hellio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute, Jérémie Boix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quentin Hellio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mathias Perruchot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Quentin Hellio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Cuvilliez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bakary Peyret was the one to do the kick off. Luc Marbach's late challenge caught a Athéna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luc Marbach helped the player get up and apologised. 81 minutes into the match, FC 93's goal looked a bit too open when Jérémie Boix came free, but Quentin Hellio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC 93 getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Bakary Peyret hit a great ball. Quentin Hellio came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Athéna's Jérémie Boix. But to his dismay, Jérémie Boix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. André Cuvilliez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Quentin Hellio made a huge save. Boris Pichon charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Pichon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Boris Pichon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentin Durand hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
