Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hamid Badier started the match with the kick off. Ange Montagnon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Joris Lahaye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joris Lahaye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrit Plouffe in the 4th minute of the match. Joris Lahaye made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerrit Plouffe in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Stade Francilien's Nikolaus Niederhauser dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A well done corner resulted in Alfred Gachon drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Stade Francilien's goalkeeper. If Romain Clapier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stade Francilien's Arnulfo Jerano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romain Clapier in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stade Francilien's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vivien Desmonts was slow to take the kick. During this time Stade Rennais FC's players had a chance to rest. Vivien Desmonts made a great header on Stade Rennais FC's corner, it was just that Stade Francilien's Arnulfo Jerano managed to reach the ball for a save. Arnulfo Jerano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamid Badier in the 25th minute of play. If Gerrit Plouffe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerrit Plouffe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Joris Lahaye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Romain Clapier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hamid Badier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Stade Francilien's zone, Hamid Badier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Jerano came out of the goal and Hamid Badier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Stade Rennais FC's Romain Clapier fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 54th minute, Gerrit Plouffe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joris Lahaye was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerrit Plouffe in the 57th minute of play forced Stade Rennais FC's goalkeeper Joris Lahaye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joris Lahaye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerrit Plouffe, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Romain Clapier came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Stade Rennais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romain Clapier couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the game, Gerrit Plouffe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Joris Lahaye was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Romain Clapier notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Stade Francilien's Arnulfo Jerano. Arnulfo Jerano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teddy Lalouette made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Stade Francilien's Jean-Yves Deltour. Joris Lahaye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathys Yilmaz in the 76th minute of play. Richard Trinquier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerrit Plouffe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Joris Lahaye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Gerrit Plouffe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stade Rennais FC's Joris Lahaye was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joris Lahaye came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Stade Francilien's Richard Trinquier. But to his dismay, Richard Trinquier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Joris Lahaye came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stade Francilien's Gerrit Plouffe. But to his dismay, Gerrit Plouffe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stade Francilien had played much better football throughout.
