Hinrich Grein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Demaret, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Henri Coco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hinrich Grein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Perrex's Camille Badel got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Bernard Demaret had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hinrich Grein. Perrex's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Demaret was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Pierre-Olivier Férard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hinrich Grein was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bernard Demaret came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Barre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Demaret couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savaş Savaş in the 23rd minute of play forced Barre's goalkeeper Robin Bougard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barre's Robin Bougard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savaş Savaş in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Perrex's Igor Cassard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Bougard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Demaret in the 30th minute of play forced Perrex's goalkeeper Hinrich Grein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Bougard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Cassard's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. A collision led to Perrex getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jochem Iepstra hit a great ball. Hinrich Grein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Demaret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Demaret took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hinrich Grein. Hinrich Grein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 40 played minutes Perrex got a freekick which was hit by Camille Badel. Bernard Demaret took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hinrich Grein. Hinrich Grein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Igor Cassard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Savaş Savaş was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Bernard Demaret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aurélien Merlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Barre's Djibril Louboutin got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute, Savaş Savaş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robin Bougard was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Jochem Iepstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Savaş Savaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perrex's supporters rose to their feet, but Savaş Savaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Bougard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernard Demaret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Hinrich Grein made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Savaş Savaş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Bougard was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. A collision led to Barre getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bernard Demaret hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Barre's Hinrich Grein threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henri Coco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Henri Coco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hinrich Grein. That made the score 3-5 in the 82 minute of play. In the 85th minute, Barre's Henri Coco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hinrich Grein. Hinrich Grein yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-6. Pierre-Olivier Férard hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Robin Bougard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Savaş Savaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
