Jorge Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Nielsen having to interfere. When Book the math's Abidin Kuluk in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Jorge Mata sped through Skálafjørður's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Nielsen. Tommy Nielsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jón Egholm in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Abidin Kuluk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skálafjørður's Tommy Nielsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Mata struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Tommy Nielsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Book the math. Tommy Nielsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Jónhard í Skorini's late challenge caught a Book the math's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Skálafjørður fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Book the math were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
