Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tonny Castilho took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tonny Kwieciński received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. John Rein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute of the match, Torkil Pauli Jacobsen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but John Rein saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Norðskáli ÍF defense, Tonny Kwieciński kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Rein. The Norðskáli ÍF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Rein should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Norðskáli ÍF 's zone, Klæmint Dam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Rein came out of the goal and Klæmint Dam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Jákup Benjaminsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Janus Pauli Samuelsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 31st minute, Klæmint Dam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tonny Castilho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jákup Benjaminsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Tonny Kwieciński dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of John Rein, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tonny Kwieciński to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tonny Kwieciński in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Rein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jákup Benjaminsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janus Pauli Samuelsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Tonny Castilho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Janus Pauli Samuelsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tonny Kwieciński had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Tonny Kwieciński's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Rein was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. John Rein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klæmint Dam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Kenneth Jónsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Janus Pauli Samuelsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Janus Pauli Samuelsen made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Jákup Benjaminsen sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 72 minutes, Jákup Benjaminsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norðskáli ÍF 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jákup Benjaminsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Klæmint Dam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Norðskáli ÍF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonny Castilho to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes, Welford City's Bárður Frederiksberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper John Rein came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Welford City reached it. Tonny Castilho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Jákup Benjaminsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norðskáli ÍF 's supporters rose to their feet, but Jákup Benjaminsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janus Pauli Samuelsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jákup Benjaminsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Tonny Kwieciński got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klæmint Dam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96thth minute of the game Tonny Kwieciński who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norðskáli ÍF 's John Rein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Welford City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
