Verdegas's Ismael Feliu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Verdegas from getting a goal against them. Julio Lagunas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peio Cuadrado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rubén Paz during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ceferino Idiaquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Feliu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceferino Idiaquez ran back to his position shaking his head. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
