Santa Ines's Isidro Bellido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cortez Campomanes in the 25th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Feliu Babia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Ines's Isidro Bellido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cortez Campomanes might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidro Bellido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cortez Campomanes ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidro Bellido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliu Babia, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Cortez Campomanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes, Jerold Castillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Ines and the Sudanell players grew even worse after the yellow card. Feliu Babia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Isidro Bellido firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Feliu Babia came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Sudanell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliu Babia couldn't finish the play.
