Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Xilo Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Carmona in the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Portus's Bienvenido Griful sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Narciso Beloki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Ambreixo CF's Narciso Beloki got control of the ball when Bienvenido Griful tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 minutes, Tabb Harroyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ambreixo CF and the Portus players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Portus's goalkeeper Xilo Sánchez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jesús Lacorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Bienvenido Griful cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Narciso Beloki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Narciso Beloki was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bartolo Lorenzo. A collision led to Ambreixo CF getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Toni Taules hit a great ball. A hard shot 40 in the game by Bienvenido Griful from a close distance when the talented Narciso Beloki managed to make a qualified save. Ambreixo CF's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gualterio Carmona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xilo Sánchez having to interfere. Narciso Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nastasio Mondejar in the 58th minute of the match. If Jesús Lacorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesús Lacorte got free with Xilo Sánchez in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 63 minutes, Bienvenido Griful managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bienvenido Griful was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartolo Lorenzo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Narciso Beloki. Ambreixo CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bienvenido Griful received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Narciso Beloki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Beloki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bienvenido Griful, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gualterio Carmona came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ambreixo CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Carmona couldn't finish the play. After 73 played minutes Portus got a freekick which was hit by Gelmiro Ucero. In the 79th minute Bienvenido Griful shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xilo Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Carmona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Portus got a freekick which was hit by Baiardo Briso. Narciso Beloki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bienvenido Griful in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Portus's Lander Bellido got a free kick in the 86th minute. Amadeo Bastida hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesús Lacorte got free with Xilo Sánchez in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Portus's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
