The audience was convinced that Cucao Pascual's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pau Colillas was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Pau Colillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Covaron's Manuel Domenech got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ciano Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pau Colillas having to interfere. Roi Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ostadar Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cucao Pascual was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Ostadar Cabrera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ostadar Cabrera succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 55th playminute. After 58 played minutes Covaron got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Domenech. 63 minutes into the game, Aberri Sans recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roi Fernandez. Covaron's Pau Colillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciano Martinez in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Palo CF's goalkeeper Roi Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Ciano Martinez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pau Colillas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ciano Martinez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pau Colillas having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cucao Pascual in the 88th minute of play forced Covaron's goalkeeper Pau Colillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Aberri Sans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roi Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Covaron's Manuel Domenech broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Covaron had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
