In the 46th minute, Regis Barroso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pau Colillas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aberri Sans made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Covaron's Fredo Ferrer got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Covaron's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Servando Zamora fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 57 minutes into the game, Ospin Figueres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Covaron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viator the free kick. The supporters of Viator booed when Covaron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ospin Figueres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Covaron's Ostadar Cabrera got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Covaron's Pau Colillas got control of the ball when Servando Zamora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fredo Ferrer's late challenge caught a Viator's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredo Ferrer helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Covaron got a freekick which was hit by Fredo Ferrer. Alcadio Jorquera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Servando Zamora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pau Colillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcadio Jorquera was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Viator's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Alcadio Jorquera came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Viator fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alcadio Jorquera couldn't finish the play. After 90 played minutes Covaron got a freekick which was hit by Curro Elguero. Alcadio Jorquera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pau Colillas having to interfere. Servando Zamora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Viator players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
