In the 6th minute, Mazuste Acedo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tomi Quintanilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Abad in the 10th minute of the match. Tomi Quintanilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Abad's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Tomi Quintanilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Marcen getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Muno Flores hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Celedonio Viqueira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomi Quintanilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mazuste Acedo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 41st playminute. Tomi Quintanilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Abad in the 46th minute of the match. Donato Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Abad to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Donato Abad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Cruz De La Zarza CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Abad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomi Quintanilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Garcia hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Elian Montiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Tomi Quintanilla made a huge save. Donato Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elian Montiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Marcen's zone, Elian Montiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomi Quintanilla came out of the goal and Elian Montiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute Donato Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomi Quintanilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Marcen's goalkeeper Tomi Quintanilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elian Montiel. When Mazuste Acedo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Marcen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazuste Acedo couldn't finish the play. After 77 played minutes Santa Cruz De La Zarza CF got a freekick which was hit by Bastian Galdamez. Santa Cruz De La Zarza CF's Elian Montiel got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donato Abad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tomi Quintanilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marcen's Ofelio Lopez de Toro got a free kick in the 86th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Marcen's goalkeeper Tomi Quintanilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elian Montiel. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santa Cruz De La Zarza CF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
