Mendebal Ferrer made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Quilino Ponce De Leon sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in San Martiño's zone, Quilino Ponce De Leon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mendebal Ferrer came out of the goal and Quilino Ponce De Leon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Falo Vera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quilino Ponce De Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mendebal Ferrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quilino Ponce De Leon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quilino Ponce De Leon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Mendebal Ferrer made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lordi Dean in the 31st minute of play forced Bar Olimpic's goalkeeper Lico Leseduarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zelipe Nieto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mendebal Ferrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zelipe Nieto came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Bar Olimpic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zelipe Nieto couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Bar Olimpic's Quinto Jofre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mendebal Ferrer. Mendebal Ferrer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 46th match minute, Bar Olimpic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quilino Ponce De Leon to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nono Abascal to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bar Olimpic's goalkeeper Lico Leseduarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lordi Dean. Zelipe Nieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zelipe Nieto might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mendebal Ferrer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zelipe Nieto ran back to his position shaking his head. Zelipe Nieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mendebal Ferrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zelipe Nieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mendebal Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quilino Ponce De Leon in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, San Martiño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitor Maroto to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Desiderio Roman managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Martiño's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Roman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lico Leseduarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zelipe Nieto hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Bar Olimpic's Lico Leseduarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Bar Olimpic from getting a goal against them. Lico Leseduarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nono Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Zelipe Nieto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mendebal Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bar Olimpic's Lico Leseduarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nono Abascal in the 92nd minute of play. If Falo Vera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bar Olimpic fully deserved thier win.
