In the 3rd minute of the match Zoel Olle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucjan Zielinski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mel Gala in the 5th minute of play forced A.D Vadorrey's goalkeeper Xacobo Domenech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mel Gala scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xacobo Domenech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordarell Sainz in the 11th minute of play forced Ascó's goalkeeper Lucjan Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes, Bertin Andres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ascó and the A.D Vadorrey players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enol Romero's late challenge caught a A.D Vadorrey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enol Romero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of A.D Vadorrey booed when Ascó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enol Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lucjan Zielinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mel Gala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xacobo Domenech having to make a save. 24 minutes into the game, A.D Vadorrey's Cordarell Sainz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucjan Zielinski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Alvarez got free with Lucjan Zielinski in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A.D Vadorrey's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cornelio Carrasco in the 32nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Berto Valdés managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The throw-in from Arximiro Merino in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ascó's Lander Calatayud. Mel Gala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xacobo Domenech having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cordarell Sainz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Ascó got a freekick which was hit by Lander Calatayud. Cordarell Sainz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Lucjan Zielinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to A.D Vadorrey getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Cordarell Sainz hit a great ball. Ascó's Mel Gala got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, A.D Vadorrey's Cordarell Sainz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucjan Zielinski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a little luck, A.D Vadorrey's Xacobo Domenech got control of the ball when Mel Gala tried to sneak it across the goal line. A.D Vadorrey's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cornelio Carrasco in the 74th minute. After taking down the ball on A.D Vadorrey's corner Arximiro Merino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucjan Zielinski quite easily take care of the ball. Stefan Nica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xacobo Domenech having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Alvarez during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ascó booed when A.D Vadorrey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, A.D Vadorrey could leave the field as winners, despite Ascó having more of the ball for most of the match.
