The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Stefan Nica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucjan Zielinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayo Viqueira went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Ascó booed when Los Cabos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Paris didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Julen Idiaquez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lano Cainzos skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th minute Laurin Landa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Zielinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Cayo Viqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lucjan Zielinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Los Cabos's goalkeeper Lano Cainzos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mel Gala. Lander Calatayud struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Lano Cainzos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascó. Cisco De Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Mel Gala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julen Idiaquez lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ascó! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mel Gala in the 38th minute of play forced Los Cabos's goalkeeper Lano Cainzos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Zielinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayo Viqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ascó's Lucjan Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurin Landa in the 44th minute of play. If Mel Gala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laurin Landa to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Los Cabos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Alonso to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Los Cabos getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Indar Castan hit a great ball. Mel Gala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lano Cainzos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurin Landa in the 65th minute of play forced Ascó's goalkeeper Lucjan Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Los Cabos booed when Ascó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mel Gala didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Cayo Viqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Cabos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayo Viqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ascó's Lucjan Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurin Landa in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Ascó's Lucjan Zielinski got control of the ball when Cayo Viqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Los Cabos defense, Lander Calatayud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lano Cainzos. The Los Cabos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lano Cainzos should have stopped the shot. After 81 played minutes Los Cabos got a freekick which was hit by Elisardo Gimenez. Ascó's Carlos Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 played minutes, Los Cabos's Garaile Saura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucjan Zielinski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Cabos reached it. Garaile Saura got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Natanael Alonso. With a little luck, Ascó's Lucjan Zielinski got control of the ball when Cayo Viqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucjan Zielinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cayo Viqueira in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Cabos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
