The supporters of Ascó booed when Astronautas Love was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ascó's Lucjan Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesús Borrás in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mel Gala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Moya was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When Marciano Carballido came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ascó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Carballido couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Jesús Borrás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ascó's Tonete Quevedo got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesús Borrás got free with Lucjan Zielinski in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesús Borrás was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ascó's goal looked a bit too open when Rufo Dobale came free, but Lucjan Zielinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufo Dobale in the 60th minute of play forced Ascó's goalkeeper Lucjan Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Zielinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesús Borrás, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Astronautas Love's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesús Borrás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Zielinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 played minutes Astronautas Love got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Feliu. Rufo Dobale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Zielinski having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Jesús Borrás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Jesús Borrás notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ascó's Lucjan Zielinski. Lucjan Zielinski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jesús Borrás might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucjan Zielinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesús Borrás ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Astronautas Love's Saul Clos got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Astronautas Love were the better team. Astronautas Love's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
