Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, RCD Mallorca's Rey Martin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario De la Torre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Balesio Vallejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mario De la Torre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rey Martin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario De la Torre having to interfere. Prospero Feal kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rey Martin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bartolo Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Rey Martin made a precise shot to the right of Mario De la Torre. Villarejo Seco SAD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After some careless play in the RCD Mallorca defense, Delmiro Calderon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Acarreta. The RCD Mallorca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Acarreta should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute Rey Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario De la Torre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balesio Vallejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute of the match, Rey Martin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mario De la Torre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Calderon in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Acarreta saved RCD Mallorca from getting behind. RCD Mallorca's Donato Acarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Calderon in the 96th minute of play. Delmiro Calderon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over RCD Mallorca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Villarejo Seco SAD throughout the match.
