Siro Lacorte came out of the goal and Avellano Contratas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Morera in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josu Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th match minute, BIRRAS UNITED SSC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Olmedo to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, BIRRAS UNITED SSC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Morera came free, but Josu Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Morera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Josu Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Olmedo lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Marchalenes AFC. Batista Perpiñán stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Josu Lara. 1-0. Mauricio Verges took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josu Lara. Josu Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 34th match minute, Marchalenes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Anibal Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josu Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josu Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Morera in the 38th minute of the match. Josu Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Padro Mera went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.

The referee ignored Marchalenes AFC's protests and gave Macario Vallejo a yellow card for diving instead. BIRRAS UNITED SSC's Josu Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Morera in the 65th minute of play. The penalty shot was made by Batista Perpiñán, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BIRRAS UNITED SSC's Josu Lara. 5-0. BIRRAS UNITED SSC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Morera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There was no doubt that Marchalenes AFC were the better team. Marchalenes AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
