After 10 minutes of play, Athletic Club Bilbao's Lluc Garzon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tohias Mata was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Athletic Club Bilbao getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Pablo Encina hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Lorenzo Nunez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohamed Mezquita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Terrassa FC booed when Athletic Club Bilbao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Encina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Athletic Club Bilbao's Mohamed Mezquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Verdeja in the 17th minute of play. Tohias Mata made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Jesús Nafría sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Venancio Turrilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeruko Cardeñosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tohias Mata made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Pablo Encina made a precise shot to the right of Tohias Mata. Terrassa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Athletic Club Bilbao's Mohamed Mezquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Cuadrado in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Nafría in the 34th minute of play forced Terrassa FC's goalkeeper Tohias Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Pablo Encina took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Tohias Mata to make any attempt to save it. 47 minutes into the game, Kelemen Campoamor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tohias Mata. Kelemen Campoamor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Pablo Encina made the kick off in the second half. Tohias Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeruko Cardeñosa in the 54th minute of the match. Terrassa FC's Tohias Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeruko Cardeñosa in the 56th minute of play. Tohias Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Encina in the 58th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Terrassa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeruko Cardeñosa came free, but Tohias Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alain Cuadrado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mohamed Mezquita. That made the score 5-1 in the 69 minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Terrassa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ray Verdeja to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes of play, Athletic Club Bilbao's Ismael Fernandez made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tohias Mata was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose-Enrique Montero got free with Mohamed Mezquita in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 played minutes Athletic Club Bilbao got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Albizua. Mohamed Mezquita acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Venancio Turrilla. After 83 played minutes Athletic Club Bilbao got a freekick which was hit by Lluc Garzon. 88 minutes into the game, Athletic Club Bilbao's Jesús Nafría nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tohias Mata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. In the 96th minute, Terrassa FC's Alain Cuadrado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mohamed Mezquita. Mohamed Mezquita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Athletic Club Bilbao had played much better football throughout.
