Borrissola's Alifonso Jareño shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oxel Saez but with some difficulty. Amuruza Bermejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacio Arraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A collision led to Borrissola getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alifonso Jareño hit a great ball. Evelio Puig's late challenge caught a Huércal De Almería FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Puig helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Huércal De Almería FC booed when Borrissola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacio Arraz scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amuruza Bermejo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amuruza Bermejo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Baeza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amuruza Bermejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Baeza, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Pello Redondo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Borrissola got a freekick which was hit by Pello Redondo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabel Castaño in the 26th minute of play forced Borrissola's goalkeeper Amuruza Bermejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Teodosio Maestro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amuruza Bermejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xabel Castaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Amuruza Bermejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Borrissola's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Maestro came free, but Amuruza Bermejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tabb Prats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borrissola's Amuruza Bermejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacio Arraz in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sigfrido Baeza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Borrissola's goal looked a bit too open when Dacio Arraz came free, but Amuruza Bermejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amuruza Bermejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Maestro in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Pedrosa in the 57th minute of play forced Borrissola's goalkeeper Amuruza Bermejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amuruza Bermejo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dacio Arraz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borrissola's goalkeeper Amuruza Bermejo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Huércal De Almería FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tabb Prats came free, but Oxel Saez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amuruza Bermejo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Huércal De Almería FC's Xabel Castaño. But to his dismay, Xabel Castaño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Sigfrido Baeza took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Amuruza Bermejo to make any attempt to save it. 78 minutes into the match, Borrissola's goalkeeper Amuruza Bermejo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xabel Castaño. Sigfrido Baeza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amuruza Bermejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Pedrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Xabel Castaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Amuruza Bermejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tabb Prats succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. Huércal De Almería FC played a much better game than Borrissola and deserved their victory. The Borrissola players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
