Rafa Ucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, Ermua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Valdivia to maneuver through the defense. Anko Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anko Gil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermua's Lino Encina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaitano Jorquera in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Ermua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa Ucero to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes of play, Mati's Rafael Guerrero made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Encina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barros Verdeja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natanael Goyanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Gaitano Jorquera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ermua's zone, Rafael Guerrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Encina came out of the goal and Rafael Guerrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barros Verdeja in the 39th minute of play forced Mati's goalkeeper Natanael Goyanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaitano Jorquera in the 47th minute of play forced Ermua's goalkeeper Lino Encina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anko Gil made a kick off. Anko Gil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Natanael Goyanes came out and tried to block the shot, but Anko Gil slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Ermua's Anko Gil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Natanael Goyanes. Natanael Goyanes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Lino Encina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Guerrero took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Encina. Lino Encina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Jacques Casillas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nayely Aznar in the 68th minute of play forced Ermua's goalkeeper Lino Encina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Encina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Guerrero in the 69th minute of the match. Lino Encina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nayely Aznar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anko Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Ermua's Rafa Ucero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rafa Ucero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ermua protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rafa Ucero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Mati. Goi Canturri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lino Encina. 5-2. Fredo Mudarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Natanael Goyanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermua's Lino Encina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Guerrero in the 97th minute of play. Lino Encina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo España in the 98th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ermua's Barros Verdeja got a free kick in the 99th minute. Mati's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
