Rafael Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mati's Teobaldo España got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Pancho Palomar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Natanael Goyanes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, one of Mati:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mati. Fructuoso Saez shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Santos Rajoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natanael Goyanes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Rajoi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Pancho Palomar came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Gaditanos C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pancho Palomar couldn't finish the play. Natanael Goyanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaitz Puyol in the 35th minute of play. Santos Rajoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Natanael Goyanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Gaditanos C.F.'s Pancho Palomar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natanael Goyanes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Santos Rajoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natanael Goyanes. Mati's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Rajoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pancho Palomar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Rafael Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mati's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Guerrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo España scored 1-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Goi Espinosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Natanael Goyanes was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Illan Solera capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Illan Solera really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. A hard shot 79 in the game by Santos Rajoi from a close distance when the talented Natanael Goyanes managed to make a qualified save. Mati's players were relieved. Natanael Goyanes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Rajoi in the 80th minute. Natanael Goyanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pancho Palomar in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mati's goalkeeper Natanael Goyanes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goi Espinosa having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Rafael Guerrero made a precise shot to the right of Goi Espinosa. Gaditanos C.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Pancho Palomar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
