Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Landolfo Leseduarte got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Grions booed when Rayo Benaguasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaitano Cordoba didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Rayo Benaguasil's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Gonzáles came free, but Igor Sevilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Rayo Benaguasil's Elisardo Vagrande made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lico Lagunas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 played minutes Rayo Benaguasil got a freekick which was hit by Gaitano Cordoba. Grions's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Elisardo Vagrande scored to the left of an out of position Lico Lagunas, making the score, 2-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Edur Teruel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayo Benaguasil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edur Teruel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elisardo Vagrande might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lico Lagunas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elisardo Vagrande ran back to his position shaking his head. Lico Lagunas made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Elisardo Vagrande sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Brun Alonso in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rayo Benaguasil's Antxo Ucero. Elisardo Vagrande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Elisardo Vagrande came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Rayo Benaguasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elisardo Vagrande couldn't finish the play. In the last second Lico Lagunas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Elisardo Vagrande in the 40thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Elisardo Vagrande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Rayo Benaguasil's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Landolfo Leseduarte 51 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Igor Sevilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Landolfo Leseduarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elisardo Vagrande took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lico Lagunas. Lico Lagunas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 70th minute Landolfo Leseduarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Sevilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Grions's Landolfo Leseduarte in the 72nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Igor Sevilla was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Rayo Benaguasil through an amazing save. In the 74th minute, Pablo Gonzáles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Gaitano Cordoba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rayo Benaguasil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grions the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Rayo Benaguasil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaitano Cordoba to maneuver through the defense. Agusti Amorebieta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th play minute Pablo Gonzáles came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Igor Sevilla. 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elisardo Vagrande in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lico Lagunas saved Grions from getting behind.
