Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Caldelas's goal looked a bit too open when Landolfo Leseduarte came free, but Zuri Camaño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Caldelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aarón Canturri to maneuver through the defense. Grions's Landolfo Leseduarte got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Grions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Paredes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Caldelas's zone, Landolfo Leseduarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zuri Camaño came out of the goal and Landolfo Leseduarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grions's Lico Lagunas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ginés Nafría in the 17th minute of play. When Caldelas's Gilabert Viqueira in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Landolfo Leseduarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Gonzáles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Zuri Camaño when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Pablo Gonzáles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Caldelas's zone, Landolfo Leseduarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zuri Camaño came out of the goal and Landolfo Leseduarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Landolfo Leseduarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Landolfo Leseduarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Landolfo Leseduarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zuri Camaño was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pablo Gonzáles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Landolfo Leseduarte made a kick off. Caldelas's Zuri Camaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Gonzáles in the 52nd minute of play. Gilabert Viqueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Lico Lagunas made a huge save. Lico Lagunas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ginés Nafría in the 57th minute of the match. Federico Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Caldelas's Edur De la Torre got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caldelas's goalkeeper Zuri Camaño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Caldelas booed when Grions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Gonzáles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Landolfo Leseduarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zuri Camaño was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Pablo Gonzáles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuri Camaño having to interfere. If Gilabert Viqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pablo Gonzáles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zuri Camaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Caldelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edur De la Torre to maneuver through the defense. Landolfo Leseduarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Zuri Camaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Grions's Pablo Gonzáles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zuri Camaño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Grions got a freekick which was hit by Federico Paredes. Caldelas were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Grions's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edur De la Torre took the corner. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grions fully deserved thier win.
