Tolino Maestro's late challenge caught a Viavelez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bastia Alfaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bastia Alfaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Quijana having to make a save. When Nicasio Salan came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Viavelez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Salan couldn't finish the play. If Nicasio Salan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Quijana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Salan, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Bastia Alfaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Bastia Alfaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viavelez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bastia Alfaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argider Cacheres in the 30th minute of play forced Viavelez's goalkeeper Solustiano Pareja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, René Campello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Origen F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viavelez the free kick. Bastia Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Quijana having to interfere. Bastia Alfaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Juan Quijana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicasio Salan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Quijana having to interfere. Mark Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Mark Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicasio Salan to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Viavelez getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Simon Maldonado hit a great ball. Enetz Llinares, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Solustiano Pareja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Pena's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Juan Quijana came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Viavelez's Nicasio Salan. But to his dismay, Nicasio Salan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Viavelez's Solustiano Pareja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Viavelez from getting a goal against them. Mark Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Solustiano Pareja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mark Pena came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Origen F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Pena couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Origen F.C. booed when Viavelez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bastia Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Quijana having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Argider Cacheres got free with Solustiano Pareja in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bastia Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argider Cacheres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Solustiano Pareja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Viavelez were the better team. Viavelez's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
