After 7 played minutes Hinojosa got a freekick which was hit by Maurin Aizpurua. After 12 minutes, Amancio Bacete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hinojosa and the Gorgullos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Amancio Bacete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nel Pedraza in the 14th minute of play forced Gorgullos FC's goalkeeper Ramone Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Sobera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ramone Herrera made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Hinojosa's goal looked a bit too open when Ponc Acosta came free, but Arotza Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nel Pedraza struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ramone Herrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hinojosa. Nel Pedraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramone Herrera having to interfere. Ramone Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nel Pedraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ramone Herrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Sobera in the 28th minute. Arotza Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ponc Acosta in the 38th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Amancio Bacete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gorgullos FC's Ramone Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nel Pedraza in the 41st minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ponc Acosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelines Aizpurua to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gorgullos FC's goalkeeper Ramone Herrera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Gorgullos FC booed when Hinojosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Vazquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ponc Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Gorgullos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ponc Acosta couldn't finish the play. Gorgullos FC's Ramone Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nel Pedraza in the 71st minute of play. Hinojosa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
